About the event
The seminar will be 10AM-2PM on Saturday, February 21st 2025. Tickets will be $50 at the door or $40 with pre-registration. We will cover exercises, movements, and techniques from each archetypal animal jurus of Inner Wave Pencak Silat:
1. Monkey (Kera/Monyet). Generates powerful strikes and grabs using vertical movement, has squats for days.
2. Snake (Ular). Seeks minimum contact distance using shearing blocks and split-second evasion.
3. Mantis (Belalang Sembah). Master of stealing balance and manipulating tension.
4. Dragon (Naga Hijau). Dynamic circular movements with precision clawing techniques and sweeps.
5. Tiger (Macan/Harimau). The classic silat ground-fighting system that catches its prey and doesn't let them escape.
